About
Interior Designer
& Faux Painter
Hello, my name is Pamela Tomasso. In the 8th grade I made a
clay figure in Art class and my teacher complimented me on it.
I felt so proud of my little creation and enjoyed the feeling
of the process and the outcome. From then on Art was a
big part of my life. With four years in Art Honorary in H.S. with my fantastic teacher Mr. Quigley, who was also one of the most positive influences on my life and taught me more than just Art but about myself. I wanted to payback what I had learned and become a H. S. Art teacher, like my muse.
Graphic Design
Later in my career I returned to College to pursue a Print Communications Degree (Graphic Design). Mentor Graphics, an Electronic Design and Automation (EDA) Industry in Silicon Valley hired me right after graduating. I was specifically hired to work with the Consulting Engineer Department to develop all Marketing material for their new hard/software products. I had no previous experience about Hi-Tec, but found it so interesting and exacerbating to work with such a cutting edge technology and to get paid to create visual communication of what they were doing.
I created web ready designs, banners, brochures, data sheets, EE Time ads, CD packaging, posters, professional presentations, diagrams/technical charts, logos and was the Art director for a Multimedia CD launch. I lead the department in acquisition creating company identity and their “look and feel.”
Later, I joined Dorfman-Pacific, one of the largest hat wear companies in the world. I developed artwork, catalogs, which also include illustrations for Princes Cruise Lines clothes wear.
Freelance Designer: advertisements, brochures, logos, business and postcards for: Clos Du Val, Gallo, Hallmark, Trader Joe’s, Java City, Ghirardelli, Sutter Home, Alhambra,Joi Natural Wellness & Apothecary, Sun, Dole, Muscle nMotion, Monney Car Stereo, Shop Equipment USA, etc.
Faux Painter
Bella Designs For You was created out of a hobby doing faux painting in my home, until someone said, “I would pay to have that done.” Something clicked, and I began taking classes, tried new techniques, faced challenges head-on, and learned not to be afraid to try new things and say I can do this and so much more! I want to do more and grow in all facets of Art and Design, which to me is self-expression
but also “Visual Communication,” just taking different forms.

Interior Design
Custom commissioned paintings for your home decor offered. Large scale artwork can be commissioned to match designs for home decor, business and/or commercial. I also do abstract if you prefer and can incorporate your own "Look and Feel," even taking your Logo, and incorporating it into the final design.
I didn't receive my degree in Interior Design, but with combined knowledge in color theory, balance, and design, making things flow, comes naturally. I can see what a space "can become." I was also a Showroom Consultant and helped design kitchens/baths aiding in the selection of natural stone and/or Quartz slabs while coordinating with tiles, and tile patterns that would complement their selections. This included backsplash, flooring, showers walls, pan, suggesting wall paint selections, cabinet colors, and hardware. I have the ability to walk into a room and see just by moving furniture around or taking decor from other rooms can make a huge difference for a welcoming and free flowing feel to make a space more welcoming.
